Depends on who you talk to....the current FRPP catalogue calls them "Power Improved".

I like "performance improved" better though.

96-98 made 215 - 225 hp, with the only changes being PI heads, PI intake, and PI cams power output increased to 260 - they (heads) make a bigger difference on the 96-98 cars because they increase the compression ratio to higher than that of the 99+ cars

nah but seriosuly i learn a load of stuff as well!!! ut the PI's are expensive and they dont really increase That much of hp...but they are neccessary to do. everyone recomends them! and also the same model of a car varies from age. like he said for 96-98 the mods affect the car diferently. i just need to find someone with a 96GT who has had plenty of time to experience with it and get the best info out of the guy. either that or research all of it myself. i dont have That much time on my hands though. but i do do a lot of research.

don't forget that the 99+ cars had different pistons.
