I have the chance to buy a 2001 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra this weekend... It has 22K miles on it with 3yrs left on the warranty. The price is at $19,995. For those who know, how does it compare to a C4 Corvette? I just sold my Vette and am interested in the SVT...

Should I buy it? Do you guys think it is a good buy? Is the price to high?

if i was u i wouldnt get it my friend just bought an 03 cobra for 23,000 with only 8,000 miles on u should look around but good luck

I did the NADA and the KBB values and they both came out to $21,500. It is at a Carmax in Dallas. I went ahead and am having it transfered here to Houston for $150.

They have an 03' SVT with 8K miles for $28,900 and an 04' for $30,000.

It seems like it would be worth it since Carmax will not add fees like a regular dealer will. I almost bought a 03' 350Z this morning but they added $10,000 to the car in hidden fees. I guess they thought I was an idiot and was not going to figure it out....

Not a bad deal, but for a few grand more you could get a new blown Cobra. I would wait or look around...

You could also prolly find a used mach1 for under 20.

Get an 03 cobra u can find them from private sellers at a good price or get a mach 1 there faster than an 01 cobra

How is the Mach 1 faster? Car and Driver tested the Mach 1 at 0-60mph in 5.4secs and the SVT Cobra at 4.8 0-60mph.....
