ok i got a few questions my speedo is off is it my computer can i fix it my self with a programer or should ford do it

did you change the gears?..is it a 99+?..if so then yeah you can fix it with a programer..if its a 98 and below then you can get the recalibrator from dallas mustang and fix it right up

its a 98 with a few mods its like 20mph off and i dont know why

then the gears are most likely changed..dallas mustang carries a recalibrator for your car..first take it to a shop and find out what gear ratio is in it or you could just make a mark on your drive shaft and turn the tire and however many times the drive shaft turns when the tire makes one full turn is what gear ratio you have..like if its almost 4 turns then youd have 3:73 and so forth..hope that help ya out

thanks man is just kinda sucks its like holy sh*t im goin 130 but i really only goin like 110 i kinda think the car has gears cause first gear is wicked and all i have is headers intake xpipe catback shifter and chip
