Default PI intake swap= DONE!!!

man, this ended up being a pain in the A$$!!!! the first pic is obviously just comparing the 2 intakes. The second pic is a rigged up coolant tube because the nipple on the waterpump is TOO BIG!! i had the pi intake tube, but it just simply wouldnt work with the stock water pump nipple

I have more pics to come, didnt feel like resizing them again........anyways, i used the pro products itnake/tb/plenum combo, and just so yall know, the stb WILL NOT FIT with this setup. the hood barely closed as it was. I had to hack-up my stb, bend it, pound it, and add to it just so it would fit. very very ugly, but i felt i had to have it to be safe in a vert. also, had to tap-n-dye a hole for the second coolant sensor, not too big of a deal. ill post up more pics a little later, if any questions about the process, just ask. i know this is kinda vague, but ill elaborate more......

btw, the car runs great. i babied it a little bit at first, but then gave it pure hell last night. thats one way to test that rtv

not sure how much the manifold by itself cost, the whole manifold/tb/plenum cost $600 plus 50 for gaskets and then shipping, $703 shipped.......you can feel a gain, but not $700 worth. If i had it to do over again, id just go with the plastic/alum crossover manifold w/ plenum and tb and saved the rest for gear install, which ill get much more improvement from.......still worth it to go pi though!!

Yea, your car will pull better in the higher rpms, and should react slightly better to bolt ons
