Default Supercharging high mileage engine?

I have a '99 GT that's basically stock, just intake manifold and clutch replaced. It has 86,000 miles and I plan on supercharging it in about a year, that's why I went with the stage II clutch.

Well, my question is, would it be a BAD idea to supercharge an engine with probably 90,000 miles on it, or should I sell the pony and buy another will low mileage? I considered an engine swap, but it'd basically be cheaper to buy another pony...

Opinions?
Thanks

As long as your car doesnt show any signs of engine issues, and you get a good tune youll be fine, dont exceed 10psi.

+1.. if you're really worried... keep it around 7-8psi, and make sure you get some cooling mods...

Thanks for the quick replies.

What would be bad amount of miles to supercharge an engine?

Engine is running fine, no signs of wear. The only problem I've had with it is the intake manifold (big surprise aye?) and the intake manifold gasket...

Already have, and the gaskets that came with the new manifold got blown out, but replaced them with the ford gaskets, so shouldn't have to worry about those anymore.

May want to get a leakdown test on it just to make sure that everything is running in tip top shape... im sure you'll be fine though.
