not familiar with a 5.4 , but does a 5.4 2v make more than a 4.6 4v anyway?

as far as i know, it should bolt up considering the only difference between the two engines is the deck height...you'll have to watch clearance around the strut towersand a larger hood is no question...if you want to do more then i cant give you any more advice, but just to let you know: The 2000 Cobra R's DOHC 5.4L could only be fitted by bringing it up through the bottom of the car

its the same swap as would be a 351 in favor of a 302 in a fox, yea it should i.e. its the same pattern block, the only difference being the deck height, what year5.4 u tryin to use cause the dohc 5.4 navy motor is not worth it, and the only one that really is is the 05 and up f150 truck motor, the torque on that thing will be ridiculous.

Only if the 5.4L is a 4v itself.

It will fit the only spot you will have to worry about is the firewall. Also you can drop it in from the top and still have room for 2 big turbos

well the torque is rediculous in any 5.4 truck motor and if i could get ahold of a cobra r motor i'd probably wouldn't because its a little to pricy i'll look at what year i want
