Default 96 GT running lean

I my car is running lean in bank 1 & 2 and i bumped up my WOT air/fuel as far as the SCT would let me(14%). My fuel pump doesn't ever cut off( if thats means anything), I was going to change my fuel filter but i really have no idea what to do.Any other things i should check?

the fuel filter swap is not a bad idea. I'd suggest you check your fuel pressure and see where you are at.

How many miles on the clock?

have you ever changed the filter before?

Before you really do anything I'd try to check your pressure. So you know... Ford's fuel pumps are not the greatest for longevity, at least from what I have seen.

You have any sort of exhaust leak before the 02s? That could throw it off too...

I'm just throwin stuff out there

okay, you turned off the rear 02s, and the front 02s are still on and always should/will be.

I'd check your fuel pressure, if it's iffy, swap the filter, if it gets better great, if not, you may need a pump.

I'd just have a LOOK at your filter and see if it looks really old or not.

what you can do is when the engine is COLD pull a plug or two and see if they really look like they are lean or not...

well just have a look... lean is usually white color... if it looks grey you are probably fine.

I wonder if you have bad luck and have two bad 02s... it has happened before...

did you buy the car with this stuff done to it? With it running lean? And I presume there is a check engine light on?

Just tryin to help you go the steps

When you say your "fuel pump never cuts off", are you saying before start up but after you turn the key to run position, the fuel pump never shuts off at all?
