Default HELP: idling rpms

i had my prochamber and lm1's put on not even a week ago and today i looked at my gauge cluster and noticed i was idling at JUST over 500rpms. i dont have anything else done to the carno tune oranythingbesides other appearance mods and im not sure if i just forgot what i idled at b4 i got the pipes put on. i also noticed that occasionaly theres a little bit of liquid coming out the tips of my pipes whenever i get on the throttle (acutally had my bro rev it while i stood behind) im THIS close to taking it back to the shop that put on my exhaust. any suggestions as to what my potential problems are/ could be??? thanks in advance.

is it always at 500 rpms? or does it drop from like 800 to 500? sometimes mine does this. most likely the liquid is water. probably not a big deal. mine idles wierd but it seems to be a common problem with 4.6L mustangs so i'm not too worried about it.

it doesnt drop too dramatically..id say it fluctuates around the 500-600 range. but i dunno if its just my imagination but i could have swore that my idle was around 800-1000 rpms b4 i got my exhaust on. i could be wrong but i just wanted to see what you guys had to say about it. my gf's dad said it was misfiringbut i had my brother hold the gas pedal at a steady rpm for a lil bit and i didnt hear anything out of the usual..

ever since i put all my exhaust and intake on, my car idles at 750 like it used to, but after i rev it or get on it hard it will go down to like 500 for a second after i let off, but then it settles back up to the 750 mark. i was worried for a while but it doesnt seem to be affecting anything. does it hurt the car for it to be at 500 rpm's or lower?

No, not as long as it still runs. I think ford sets the idle to 670 on most mustangs, but it will be +- any idle adders (ect, etc)

I hope not...in the past six months I've owned my car my idle has been just barely over 500 rpms. (Practically stock with stock tune)

BTW, the water coming out of your tailpipes is just condensation I'm sure. I bet it does it more if the car idles for a while, right? No worries.

i wouldn't worry about it then. mustangs just idle wierd. i can't think of how changing your exhaust could make your car idle different.
