Default tanns fluid.

So I want to change out the tansmission fluid in my 01 bullitt (tr-3650), it seems to bank gears pretty bad, and i want to see if some royal purple will help, how many quarts do I need, how do I drain it, and how do i fill it.

3.25 qts. To drain there is a plug on the bottom and to fill there is a plug on the side,Iused ahand pump to fill it back up otherwise good luck on getting the fluid in unless you have a shop do it.

Drain the fluid with the drain plug then pull the shifter and pour the fluid in the top. Or if u wanna pump it in the side i did this once. Insert a tube in the fill hole. Hook that to your gear oil bottle, poke a hole in the bottom of the bottle and put a air compressor nozzle to it and blow the fluid in by pressure in the bottle. Works great!
