Default Auto?

Does anyone else have this problem with their auto.....when i shift it in to R it takes a good 2-3 seconds to engage....in other cars it is usally and instant engage...i took my car to ford plenty of times, they said all of them do it? does anyone else have this problem?

ive got an auto and it doesnt take long at all to get into reverse...maybe not instantly but not more than like a fraction of a second

I took it to ford and they changed alot of **** in the tranny....they said there was exessive heat in it...they changes the fluid and all that ****.....i took it to 2 ford dealers and they said its normal....it cant be normal[&:]

My auto does that. I dont think it takes nearly 2 seconds, but there is a delay.

its the only car i know that does it and i work for a car dealership........i know im waiting for an atuo mustang gt to some in...there all 5 spds

when examining auto trannies, delay in shifting is typically a sign of a worn transmission, but i do not have any experience w/ the ford autos.
