What is done to 96-98 cobra for more power?

What is done to 96-98 cobra for more power?
I have been looking into getting a 96-98 stang. I saw where the gt of those years is rated at 225hp and the cobra is rated at 305hp. My question is what is done to the cobra to give it 80 more ponies?

My guess would be most of the hp coming from the DOHC 4v engine.

its a DOHC engine, same block but other than that its totall different.

acutally all of the cobras have the plate on the passenger side cam cover that has the signature's not just the 96

The '96 Cobras had over heating problems. The "fix" costs about $1200 from Ford. So shoot for a '98.

yeah they were if you look really close of the valve cover it say
