I am going to need new brakes and rotors soon (about another 1000 miles) any recommendations on what rotors to get? slotted vs. drilled ???

As far as my experiance goes, I wouldn't use drilled rotors on the street as they are prone to cracking, and they have a much greater cheese grater effect on the pads then just slotted,no matter what brand. They look cool and all that but slotted are better for your use. Again, JMO and I have a full set, F/R of Akebono Ultra-Premium Pro Actfull ceramic pads for sale, still in the skin pack, if interested, PM me, good luck.
