Ok, I have the magnaflow magnapacks on my car. They came with 3" tips, they look really nice....but they keep vibrating against the bumper and it has become super annoying. Ive taken it to the shop twice where it was installed at. They'd be ok for 2 days and start again. So this time I tried it myself, and for 2 days again it was gone. Then it started again, I love the look of them but....sound get sooo annoying Im ready just to put turn downs on it?

Try getting the hanger welded closer to the tip. Just like a ruler on a table; the more you have hanging off the edge, the more you can bend it and make it spring. When you move it back so only a little bit is hanging, its almost impossible to bend it. So move the hanger closer to the tip so it becomes harder for the tip to vibrate against your bumper. That should do the trick, if not you have another problem.

I have Magnaflows and I also get an occasional vibration that I can hear in the car. It seems to be the screw on the adjustable hangar coming loose, which lets the driver's side pipe vibrate against things like the gas tank that it probably shouldn't be vibrating on. If it keeps happening, I'm gonna JBWeld it and see where that gets me. The damn thing drives me nuts.
