Default gear strength

i was wondering what the difference between the regular motive gears, and the motive plus gears are. Would the regular motive gears be enough for my car? my car is basicly stock with the mods down below in the sig.

i have never seen those but if they are lighter it is better because it is lighting you rotating mass, but is it woth the money?
