Default What breaks first?

Hey guys, im planning on putting a 100-125 shot of nitrous on my car. I want to run slicks and get the quickest time possible in the 1/4. My question is will anything break with this setup and if so what will go first.(Clutch,tranny,axles,rods,etc.).Its gonna be tuned and all so that won't be a problem.Thanks for any help.

axles will break with slicks... or your clutch will slip if its stock.. if you run more than a 150 shot.. your rods or pistons will go...

Hey thanks, when i eventually get the money to do my bottom end, im gonna figure out where the rods breaking point is.I think she'll take a 200 shot once or twice.

You'll need more fuel for a 200 shot even if the bottom end would hold together..

Bro with those mods, I dont see why you wanna start spraying like crazy lol. If you want your best times N/A without the risk of blowing your engine lol practice your launching and shifting. With the mods you have, your 60ft time must be horrible or you shift like a granny if you could only get 13.9's My friend has a 00 GT with a CAI, 373 gears, o/r H and flows riding on Nitto D/Rs and pulled a 13.7 I cant remember what his 60ft was. But practice driving and you should be able to hit somewhere around the 13.7s maybe lower or higher.

Wesley,i was on futura street tires man, not the best for drag.I was sideways in 3rd gear dude.Big difference,your friend had D/R, i have futura's.Like i said in my other post i dont give a crap about this engine anymore i'm planning on getting a forged shortblock so i have no need for this crap anymore.

if u dont care go ahead and blow it up on a 200 shot. honestly i would be suprised if it makes 1 complete pass. But slick will deffinatly break your axles then your input spline on ur tranny and yea ur stock clutch is gonna poop out with slicks

200 shot.. your gonna need like a very well built forged block... and to get the most out of the nitrous you will need high compression pistons. "I" would recommend like 11:1 compression or something like that if you play on running a 200 shot. Also remember when you make more power you gotta upgrade other parts as well. Drivetrain.... Suspension(if you want to put the power down)... etc

Dude dont see here and talk down to me like I dont know the difference between D/R's and street tires. I've seen people pull 1.80 60ft's on street tires so dont tell me anything you just need to work on your driving.[&:] I'm not sure how much you actually know about your car since you wanna run a 200 shot on the stock bottom end neither do you know what breaks when you run too big of a shot. Read up bro, lots of info on here
