Pi plastic intake air flow

My intake is leaking and it shutteres when i get into 4th and 5th. Is this normal when the intake cracks. I have a new one to put on iam just worried about the shuttering. Thanks for the help.

I already started but i wanted to know if the shuttering is caused by the intake flow?
