Default Loud rapid metal noise

Ok, I'm retarded before I go into detail.....

I was racing a B-18 civic "swap of course" and it was a decent race of course since my non-pi vert is slow as hell, but anyways driving back to the meet, my car was making a random rapid somewhat ticing noise in the passenger side head im guessing.

So I check my oil and I had basically none....I'm a dumbass I know, 6,000 miles with no change. So I hop in with a friend and we get 4 quarts of 5w-30 and fill er up, and the noise would still occur.

The noise happens basically anywhere above 2500 rpms but it still pulls as hard as any stock non-pi stang would do. Is this a terminal head damage that would allow me to have an excellent reason for pi heads/cams. Or is it something worse or not as bad.

Does anyone have a clue???[:@]

It only does it under acceleration? The one in the video sounded like a valve knocking or something.

Ok.... first off yea... I gotta lay into ya a bit... 6000 miles and no oil change?? Not even checking it to see if it needed more?? AND THEN YOU RACE IT???? [sm=badidea.gif][sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=noooo.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif][sm=WTFsgign.gif]

I run Royal Purple and I dont go that long! MABEY 4k! But this is 10K oil we are talking about! Doing that you are just ASKING for the damn thing to blow!

Ok... that aside, with out fully hearing the noise it could be anything! I would reason to guess you could very likely have a spun rod bearing! Or a bent rod.... something of that nature! VERY serious work regardless! Basically you need a new motor! Rebuild the one you have yes... but that is in itself is a new motor! [sm=signs003.gif]

dont jump to conclusion. verify the sound, process of elimintion.

I had a metal knocking/slapping sound, worn/failed tensioner causing timing chain to slap guide, 800$ repair.

could be a lot of things, unfortunately.
