Default Cleaning tailpipes??

My tailpipes are brown and nasty. They aren't rusted, however, I would like to clean them up. Any suggestions? Or should I just get new tailpipes?

All these methods work (I use the simple green method like dlazrael) but keep in mind stainless steel will have some discoloration to it no matter what you do to it.

You can use mothers if want to lose your arms by scrubbing for hours. That stuff only works if they are nice already! You can use Brillo, but that will scratch your pipes all up! Yes it will, fine scratches all over. It's brillo, metal on metal think about it!!!!
I Highly reccomend using NEVERDULL! It is a cottonswab solution in a metal container that looks like wax! I used it and it works awesome on anything. I think it has some distillates in it to break down grime and tar! Tear off a piece of the swab and go to work. It dries powdery white and then you buff to a shine. My pipes looked terrible. 1 hour later Bling..Bling. I have a Detail shop and do many cars each day. I would say this is what you need!

It will also take off some minor pitting/surface rust in chrome and some lower calss stainless as well!!!

Eagle One Never Dull.. thats waht I reccomend,, if there is some harsh thick stuff on it, i'd use the other methods first to loosen it up.. but never dull does an excellent job on removing the brown build up on the rolled tips..

*oh, dont forget a fingernail or two ;-)*
