I got one more question though whats the insurance like on these?

I bet the cobra will be sky high if i get it.Im only 18 but i do have a clean recond so i dont know. Does anyone have any ideas of what it will be around roughly?

Its gunna be high I can tell you that. Get a coupe not a covert, insurance will be less.

if u have the car paided in cash it will be less than one u finance cause when u finance a car u have to have full collision and if i was u i would get full coverage anyways just cause it is a new car get a cobra u can find them for that price either a 01 or a 03 both r very strong cars and the 03 is supercharged good luck

Your insurence will be VERY high on a 400hp mustang. For 18 or more a mach1 can also be had and they are more then capable of taking an fbody. On the other hand you can get a NICE fbody for under 15.

I think im going to get the Gt since its easier to find, i can get one with really low miles, insurance will be alot lower, i can use the money i save by not geting the cobra and use it to put mods into the Gt, make it almost as fast and have the fun of installing mods.

What mods should i get on this if i buy the Gt?

i was thinking about geting a 3.73 gears,kenne bell supercharger at 6 psi(for reliability),75mm throttlebody, cold air intake, headers, x pipe,and cat back exhaust(probably flowmaster i love the sound of flowmaster exhaust, even though minimal gains).

bro insurance on a cobra or gt will almost be the same there both v8 mustangs thats what insurance look at and u can run way more that 6psi on a kenne bell

That set up would kick some a$$! All except the part about the Slowmasters! LOL! You do know that X pipe + flows = crappy sound? right? OH, and get at least a 99+ GT. 2001 was a good year.
