). A stock bore and stroke, fully forged shortblock will cost around $3000 anywhere. But its cheaper to buy the parts and find a good engine builder and machine shop.

Fox Lake Racing Heads(Stage 2) - $1795
VT Cams(Stage 2 Blower) - $565
Total - $5159 (dont forget install)... nearly $6k.
O and FYI If i was gonna build a forged shortblock i would want something more useful then 5.1 stroker... i mean wow you spent all that money and are making what 310hp? congrats...
