where can i find a plastic intake for my car excluding the stock one???

ebay is the cheapest place, but make sure you get a name brand (K&N)

well a bunch of people have been saying that the plastic intakes make more power because there cooler just what i heard wanted to get some opnions.

Not entirely true. My C&L MAF doesn't get hot to the touch, even after the motor is running for a while. It's coated.

yea see i have a mac fender intake and now people r comin on here sayin that plastic intakes r better cause of the heat did ur maf come coated or did u get it done?

That is the way it came. CAI really does no more than just putting a K&N in front of the stock MAM. The right way to do it is to get something to replace the restrictive MAM AND bring cold air to the intake.
