I have a 2004 GT with a t 3650 tranny 5 speed. I cant decide with a gear ratio to go with. Im stuck between the 3.90s or 4.10s. I was wondering what would be the top speed with either gear ratio. I dont care about gas milage and i do highway driving every now and then. Which gear would be the best gear for my car.

+1, on 4.10s. Trust me I regret getting my 3.73s, but they're far better than the stock gears.

BUT unless you go blower than you might wanna get 3.73s because 4.10s is too much for the blowers .. atleast if i remember correctly from reading up on the gears

i don't know why people worry about their top speed. you will not have enough power to redline in 5th gear, it will just not happen

i have 3:90s and luv em. they make a big difference out of the hole but on the interstate is where they really make a difference. ill be gettin my blower next week and installed in march. so well see how they handle with the blower
