Default gutting cats

there was a post about this a little bit ago but i have a different question about it, when you would gut out the cats, will there be any problems because of that? i heard that your engine runs pig rich when you do that, is it true or not? i also know about the engine like coming on but all that would be needed to stop that is MIL eliminators, correct?

it will run fine little rich, get o2 sims and it will run mint, if your worried about going threw emissions, as long as you have the 02 sims and somthing that looks like two cats under there you will pass, if your curious i can tell you how i passed without cats let me know

i've heard of people punching out their cats and losing hp because it ends up not being smooth anymore. instead of gutting them out, i think you'd be better off getting an o/r midpipe to keeping everything flowing smooth and steady
