shoot me in the right direction
Hey guys, I am getting a nice bonus from work next week and my tax returns should be coming in as well. I think after I pay some bills I should have around $2000-$2500 to play with. I figured I could buy a Powerdyne but I have heard a lot of bad things. I also was thinking of a PI swap,as my car is a 96, but I don't think I couldinstall itmyself. I also love the sound of cammed cars but I don't want to put badass cams on NPI heads, I love the sound but wouldn't spend the money for a minimal power gain. My car is basically stock, I just have cold air induction, o/r x pipe, magnaflow cat back and a C&L upper intake plenum. Oh and my intake manifold is cracked! I need some help guys!!

RE: shoot me in the right direction
I have been on this forum for a while now and I have yet to see one person with a powerdyne S/C. On top of that, everyone speaks badly of them.
That should tell you enough.
I say you should spend a max of 1,500 on your car. Put the other 1,000 in the bank and let it chill.
Your best bet would be a PI Swap, Cam, Nitrous. All of those would be over 1500, but you should be able to get one of two of them for around that.
