dash brake light

Ok, i own a 1998 GT. This jsut started about a week ago. It never did this in the other 10 months that ive owned the car. When ever i step on the brakes just a little bit hard the parking brake light comes on in the dash. Whats up with this?

Check your brake fluid.

yea most likely the brake fluid. i had this problem with my car as well.

In my car, 03 GT, when my brake pads are pretty worn when I hit the brakes my brakelight comes on. When I first got the car I couldnt figure out why it randomly started to do this, then I checked my front brakes haha
