The cargo light and remote trunk release in my '01 GT haven't worked since I've gotten it. All of the other electric equipment works fine and all my fuses are good. Anyone know where my problem could be?

could be that the harness from the trunk release is unplugged...since the light nor the release works...does it pop when you hit the blue button?..or is using the key the only way to get into the trunk?

have u tried using the button inside the glove box? If that doesnt work either I'd say its either a fuse or a wiring harness. I know there are some places online that have wiring diagrams of mustangs, I'd find one and trace the harness down if I were you.

The button in the glove box works. The key works. The blue button on the keyfob does not work, and I have no cargo light. The taillights, license plate lights, and third brake light all work fine.
