Default my motors gone, and ran crappy track times :(

went to the trak and my last run out of the 4 the motor stuttered then died. it was a stock long block 04gt with a turbo at 7psi. i was shifting at 5750 so i know it didnt over spin. im thinking oil pressure but im not sure. but it wont turnwhen you try and start it. it has oil on the dip stick dosnt look dirty, but im pretty sure it seized up. it rolls in nuteral but not in gear. i was launching a 5000 rom on the stock clutch but i still think its the motor. Any suggestions on what it might be. im going to try to turn the crank tomorro and cu the filter to see if theres any metal. but iff yall are wondering it ran a

11.97 at 116.90 with a 2.04 60ft it still has/had alot left in her......

atleast in 5 weeks she will be up and running again.. it could be a lack of oil... or... did it overheat by chance? hell.. with only 7psi i dont see it doing much unless it seized...

sorry to hear that, but you know every body gave me **** for being negative -I tried to tellyou turbos are no good on stock motors!!! I really hate to see that happen to you - hopefully the setup will be salvagable and you can get a built motor in there. The heat and stress of the turbo is alot different than that of a s/c (front mount anyway)
one of the reasons you had your failure was most likly turbo inconsistancy... I like i havesaid for a lone time 4lbs is about the most you want to ask from the stock motor, BC the turbo can produce 40 more rwhp on one run than another - esp on a homemade setup. there are few turbo cars around here - those of whom that were mustangs all popd when on stock blocks - and they had days of tuning.

Im not trying to lecture you or anybody else, so dont hate on me

But, those were some sweet numbers while they lasted... hope to see it back and better in the near future
