Black or Flat Black?

Black or Flat Black?
My car is Performance Red. I am going to be doing some vinyl accents and other stuff. Should I use flat black or just black? I was going to use all flat black, but now I am leaning towards gloss black.

i have a matte black (or flat) rear decklid decal and i justpainted hoodscoop black and im going to put a 35th anniversary hood strip down the middle, using matte black. I think matte looks good it just gets really dirty all the time and liitle spots show up on it. I would say go with the gloss black on your car. It will look good with the red imo

You think flat black is bad for spots? [8D]Gloss will be considerably worse.
I'd recommend flat black.

<--- Black car. You bet it's glossy. [8D]It shows EVERY bit of dirt... hell, if it even sits for a week without being driven it needs to be washed because of the dust that collects.

i just got a bunch of vinyls off ebay...went with their "glossy black" because it isn't very glossy if that makes sense...it is a SEMI-gloss black...to me it is just right...i had originially planned to do flat black accents...but they fade over time to ugly gray...i had painted a bunch of the black plastic parts on the car (that had faded) a flat black and over about 3 months they faded back to gray...so i redid everything with Dupont "Paint for Plastic" Semi-gloss black and the vinyls i just got match them perfectly

I am going to be painted my scoop and my spoiler black and then doing some vinyl decals. I was either going to go all gloss or all flat. Gloss seems like it might look better though.
