I have and would get SLP because of the unique sound, and mostly because of the performance gains on a stock Mach 1 (9.7 hp and 14.9 tq)
Yes that was on a dyno, done by a test posted on the Mach 1 registry, but then again the Mach is a 4V car as opposed to his 2V GT, so don't expect as much gains

Anyways, SLP has awesome sound and awesome quality (Stainless Steel) so it gets my vote!

there both great products

i have zero complaints about my SLP catback, sounds great and looks great. the fitament was top notch and the instalation is easy with the clamps supplied.

the bassani stainless catbacks are quite expensive but from what ive been told and the videos ive seen it sounds great.

Bassani. Sounds awesome. Ive got them and they're unbelievable. Sound clips don't do them justice (like any other muffler). My buddy has a bassani catback on his lightning its ****ing rediculous.

Bassani is expensive though, so if the budget is limited theres nothing wrong with SLP, it was my second choice when I was looking.

Important question though, what does he have for a mid pipe and how loud does he want it to be?

No mid pipe and as loud as possible with only a CB.
