Default Wooot New rims time! ...but help me first

So i found out exactly what im getting back in taxes and its plenty for rims and tires. I have decided on Saleen 18x9 and 18x10 chrome of course. My question is where did you guys get yours from (rims and tires) and how much did they cost? I hear AM has them for a decent price but with crap tires. Please dont tell me ebay.

They mount and balance for free but do you have to take it to them to get that done? If so where is their shop at? And how are the tires that they sell with the rims? I dont want any crap skinny ones. Which reminds me.. what tire size should i go? I want it to look sexy and wide but not cost me out the wazoo.

im gonna get my rims from AM. im prolly gonna get the cheap-o sumitomos for the front 18 x 9s since those tires arent a huge deal. and then i get them mounted and balanced for free. the rears im gonna get drag radials...and for that i must do my shopping.

what size tires u plannin on?

im plannin 265/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear

265 is the width of the tire in mm i believe, the higher the number the wider the tire. the second number is the sidewall i believe. some kind of percentage is how they might figure that number out...dont quote me. the last number is the diameter of the wheels.

no were quoting you!...he is right about the width...pretty sure the smaller number is how thick the sidewall is (percentage of the width...so 35% of 265)
