thinking about s/c

RE: thinking about s/c
You would need a hell of alot of mods to the intake to be able to put a cobra s/c on there. It just isnt worth it. I recommend to get an ATI or Vortech Kit. Intercooled! Dont run more than 10 PSI, or more than ~420 WHP. For daily driving, and all around safety, I say to keep it at ~360-380 WHP.

You could make a cobra whipple fit, but for the amount of money you would spend trying to get it to fit, you could more easily just have an aftermarket S/C that fits your car. And yea most people keep it at around 8-10psi for safety with stock internals and that amounts to anywhere in the 370-415 range, depending on the tune.

I would say it'll drastically change, just cuz you wont be able to keep your foot out of it. But if you have any kind of self control, as long as you stay out of boost, i wont be that bad. Keep it under ~2500 rpm, and you'll still be about the same as where you are now.

how many mpg with a s/c i dont use the highway that much at all.
Edit: that is true I just read the above statement, if you don't keep your foot off the gas your going to lose a lot more. If you drive normal and have some fun, it won't be too bad.
