Default Truth about Motive Gears???

Hey guys, looking to get some gears..I was going to go with FRPP 4.10s and gear kit from 50resto.com but they are out of stock.. I was looking at 3.90 Motive gears on American Muscle, and it specifically says does "not have common gear wind like Richmonds"... I was wondering those of you who have Motives and or the 3.90s...What is your ultimate take on them or do you regret not doing FRPPs....???Thanks for the help...

no not at all. they are the exact same as the FRPP, my gears came in a FRPP box. there is no whine and i do not regret them at all, by the way i have 4.10's and you should do the 4.10 no less

I have had Motive 4:10 gears in my Mach1 for a while now, and I have had no problem with them at all, no whine or anything unless you count the excessive tire wear from spinning the tires lol.

I think most would agree with me that,a good installis the deciding factor on gear whine.

People don't realize that Motive actually made the FRPP gears for a while. Not sure if they still do. But they're made in italy still with the same compound the FRPP comes with, and I had 3.90s in my 04' GT and loved em.

Nothing wrong with motive, only the installers - when they have gear whine.

gear whine is from a bad install, not the gear itself

why not wait and get 4:10s? you can acutally physcially order them for about 200 bucks from ford or through one of the many vendors on the site...
