Default Check Engine Light

My check engine light had be coming off and on for about a month most of the time it was on but sometimes it would randomly turn off. So about 3 weeks ago I went down to autozone had them pull the codes and it is o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2. So I went out bought a new o2 sensor and put the o2 sensor in the back bank on the drivers side. Everything was fine until yesterday when it came back on again. Went to autozone today has them pull the codes same exact thing o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2. Is bank 2 sensor 2 the back bank and drivers side? I also have a MAC O/R H-pipe with MIL's. I'm not sure what is wrong I put the new o2 on and it was fine for about 3 weeks now the check engine light came back on with the same codes. Anybody know what could be wrong?

could be a short. Did you actually test have the O2 sensor tested...or just replaced it?

Why do you have O2 sensors on a O/R pipe? It will always fail!

What I dont understand is that when I put the new o2 sensor in it was fine for about 3 weeks now all of sudden it came back on again. If it was the MIL's wouldnt the new o2 sensor have no affect on the check engine light?

The 02 sensor isnt bad, its reading properly - its letting the ecu know that the cats arent working... since you don't have any lol! The mils just trick your ecu into thinking the rear 02's are reading what they should - they don't matter for anything other than checking behind the cats - your front 02's are the only ones that matter. So replace the MIL eliminator on that side.

The O2 sensors are definetly going to fail. The MIL's probably had a broken wire. I had the exact same problem when mine was put on. Same code and all and it was just a broken wire.
