Default Changing Tranny Fluid

Is this something that everyone does theirselves or something that should be done at a shop? I searched and the only thing I could really find was in the 05+ section, in which they said special tools are needed.

I personally like to take my Auto trans in and have it flushed with the machine they have at Oil change shops. That way you know you got all of the old fluid out.

Ok. Works for me. $100 sound right? Thats what the shop told me the last time they tried to sell me a flush.
