Default Headlights?

Hey guys,

I had gotten some headlight covers and I love how they look, I was just wondering if I could get some different bulbs rather than the current stock bulbs on there that could possible make them a little brighter that would not be too expensive.

Thanks in advance.

What kind of covers did you get? I have the vinyl tint, that are blackouts, and I don't think anything short of HID's is going to help me out.

these ones off ebay, that just snap over the light fixture, don't have to worry about trying to tint them or anything.

The Silverstart Ultra bulbs are pretty bright.. The hellas aren't... umm. This next one is going to get some laughs, but actually the APC ultra white bulbs marked "off road use only" are some of the brightest i've seen. I work at advance auto parts and we've tried just about everything we can get..

Eurolites from best buy aren't bad either.. they aren't that bright but have a nice color

That is because they run at a higher wattage than what your normal bulbs run at... Do not run higher wattage unless you want to fry your wiring... I had those covers on my 96, even with silverstars the light output is severely decreased.. It looked good during the day, but onces it became dark, i had to take them off.. So, I sold them and picked up some smoked headlight/foglights and couldn't be happier.

+1 gt96....i've never had the covers but even with HIDs your lighting isn't even going to be as good as stock lights with the covers on at night...just take them off at night time
