I have the same set-up that you used to have (stingers and slp catted x). I have gotten nothing but compliments from local police. I actually have had a few tell me to rev it up for them, and I have been challenged by one while he was in his cruiser. He just kinda looked over at me smiling and gave me a little rev lol. Some of our city cops are some gearheads so its pretty cool.

LMAO , I almost got one with my stock ones. Thiswas just when I got the car, I was 17 and went to my high school parking lot,reved it up next to a camaro, cop passed by and checked the car. I was like, Oh no my first day and I'm already getting into trouble lol. In NYC they're strick with noise.

I've had my O/R and LM1s for about 3 months now and no sign of tickets so far. The cops hear my exhaust and they don't even look at me. Well they do when I'm sitting at a stop light but that's because they probably think I stole it....damn Hispanic stereotypes

I had a cop give me a compliment too. All I have is sweet-thunder mufflers though. I've never heard of anyone getting a noise ticket here in FL

i have an o/r system with flows and hwve never had any problems, Im thinking about getting some resonators and ditching chamber mufflers for that b#tchin sound. I would expect that if you shift under 2k around cops you should be ok.

i was with my wife one day dropping her application off at a local sherriff department, and as i was leaving a state trooper pulled up next to me and saidmy car sounded nice, made me feel cool[8D]lol

Hell yeah! One of my buddies is an MP here on Hood, and a fellow stang-head... I was working on my taillights, he dropped by, and we had fun setting off car alarms with our exhaust notes :-D Yeah, I know, petty, childish, but FUN nonetheless...

although i guess you might still be able to get a ticket, what if you just switched out a catted midpipe for your midpipe with no cats when inspection time came, wouldn't this work?????

Man before my new exahust setup i had no cats and flowmasters, it was loud as hell. I live in Fairfax county in VA. If any of you know about Fairfax police then you know the are the biggest a$$h0l3s!! Of all the tickets ive ever gotten from them i never even got questioned about my overly loud exhaust...Go figure
