I took the car to the shop last night (broke 3&4th fork month or so ago) on the way my T-45 finally gave it all the way up last night, its stuck in 5th.... heres the question should I find a T-45 to stick back in it or do a t-56 swap (anyone attempted it? how much stuff do I have to change?). So either way looks like im buying a new one (pm me if u got either for sale.

Depends on what your budget is. Used t45s can be had for a couple hundred bucks if you look around. You can also pay to have it rebuilt or you canspend a little more than what the rebuild would cost and get a tko500. Or spend alot more and go with the t56 upgrade.

Id probably look for a tko500 unless you can get it rebuilt for less with beefed up parts or have the coin for the t56.

That's the way to go. T-45 is a very weak tranny. The TKO line can take a hell of a beating!
