Has anyone ever done a forged kit on there car?? Or ported there heads???

Lots of people have, are talking about just getting the forged parts and putting them in your block or just getting a whole new shortblock. It was brought up the other day and noone really knew why more people just dont buy the parts and put them in their own block.

Yes im having them put in my block. Should i go with just the standard internals or should i have anything done while there in there IE: stroked, cams, ported?

Well i guess my budget is what ever it cost to get a long block from Ford. The mech shop screwed up my motor so im getting one built instead of getting a new one from Ford. I want to make the car tough and fast.
