Newbie Needs HELP!!!
This is probubaly a really dumb question but i am new to mustangs. I have a 2000 GT and my service engine soon light came on, and itis a misfire in cylynder 8. I got a new ignition coil for it. Can i do this myself or should i take it to someone? Is it hard to do? What kind of tools do i need? And last but not least how do you do it?

RE: Newbie Needs HELP!!!
in my 01 the coil is easy to take off.....on the passenger side you just unplug the coil, take out the small bolt on the coil, and just pull the coil out(you may or may not have to unplug the injector wire to get some room to get the coils out)......and just reverse the process to put the new one on....I would put a small amount of electrical greaseon the rubber to let it slide back on easier and to kinda seal it up
...on the passenger side it is the same but to get at some of them you have to remove the intake which is easy and you can't really mess anything up
.....O, and make sure to not over tightn the coil bolts and to plug everything back in..
