rear end clunk
 
ever since i bought the car, going over any sort of bump at any speed there is a clunking noise coming from the driver side rear. like something is loose back there. any ideas guys? thanks.

Could be anything. Rear control arms, springs? Have to hear it

struts might be blown. kinda doubt it being an 03. just take it to a shop and have them check out your suspension

it's got an aftermarket suspension because it is lowered..but im not sure what type.

i'm gonna guess struts, but that's just a wild guess being that i haven't actually heard the sound. a shop shouldn't charge you just to take a quick glance over everything

Like I said earlier C/A or springs, maybe rear shocks. Go to your shop and they hopefully figure it out

i haven't really found a shop other than the dealership. would a place like midas or firestone look at something like that for me?

just try a hole in the wall mechanic. they usually dont charge to take a quick look. but beware...some of them load you up with b.s. to make a quick buck.

Those are racing clunks man;)

my first car i had when i turned 16 was fine for the first 3 weeks. and all the sudden i had a clunk/rattle sound comin from the right rear got home and checked my tires and i took off the center cap and 2 lugnuts were completely off rllin around in the cap... i think someone was tryin to sabotage me [:@]
