the speedo gear will not work, you will need a speedcal from dallas mustangs. it worked great for my 4.10s and the gear did nothing

what year is ur car Hash, everyone on hear says that the 96 mustang has a gear driven speedo so the speedcal won't work for us

i was told to get a gear it workes good so u bought one and i think the speedcal will work it just takes longer to install i hear and costs more

Get the speedcal... Those cheapo speedo gears are exactly that.. cheap.. I can't remember which one it exactly is for, either the 4.10's/3.73's... A TUNER will not work for our cars.. stop trying to do things the cheap way.. Plus it only costs $100 for the speedcal..

well what should i do about this, the previous owner of my car had a tranny pulled from another mustang which had like 373 gears or something and put in my stock geared car, so the speedo is very slow and way off, should i go get the stock spedo gear from the dealership or should i get the speed cal thing as well?

Cant answer the question without knowing the year of the car. 96-98 gear, 99-+speedcal.
