That 44" high dimension for the 4.6L (LxWxH = 36x36x44, in the last line) has to be a typo, the hood would have to be over 4 feet off the ground!I suspect 34"...

That video makes me want to go buy a big block... Big Block and twin turbos = wheeeeeee

E.
A buddy of mine has a 00 or 01 GT (race car) with a pushrod 347 (I know its not a big block)stroker and twins. He's running 8.60's in the 1/4 (Montgomery Motorsports Park in Montgomery, AL). Of course this is a race car with nothing other than the body even resembling a stock Mustang

Check out KAUFMAN on the web, they made a setup to drop one in a fox chassis a long time ago. A new edge should be a cinch.

I've been thinking of the same thing, droping a big block on my 97 GT sinceI want a HP without using a blower or juice. They said I will need alot of fabrication with the firewall and much more so this has discouraged me to keep looking, but if you find an answer please pm me.

It can be done, but for the amount of money you'll spend and the fabrication needed, not to mention the suspension mods & drivetrain mods...it'll be cheaper to build a 2v & blow it and make the same power.
