Diablosport Chip Question

RE: Diablosport Chip Question
hey so would you recommend the predator or diablo for a 03 cobra? and how do you like your mangflows? and why didn't you get magnapacks? and have you heard borla's on a 03/04 cobra?

The guy that I'm talking about will sell you thr Predator with a custom tune ready to load. I have talked to countless others that have tested his tunes on a dyno to monitor A/F ratios, and he is on the mark almost every time. He even says that the tuned supplied by Diablo leaves a lot to be desired.
I have not heard of one "off" tune from him. And if you need something changed, he will send you the re-tune for free.
A lot of Cobra owners use his tunes exclusively with wideband monitoring, and never go to a shop with a dyno.
If you find a good tuner, he can just about hit the specs you want on the first try. I know my tuner did. He said that custom tuning on a dyno was only needed with major modifications to the car such as FI, and other power adders.
It's when you start having to change out fuel delivery components and other associated equipment that "dialing in" is needed. When you are working within the constraints of what the engine's stock equipment will handle, a good tuner can usually hit the sweet spot the first time.
But as I said, this is my opinion. I would have no problem ordering from this guy or the guy that tuned my car if I had mail order as the only option.

RE: Diablosport Chip Question
I have paid almost 300 dollars for nothing so far. I have no custom tune, and the tune in the chip I have now puts my A/F up to 15:1 if I turn it on.
