heres my 2nd debate...I just bought a set of chrome 04 cobras and now i need to get 2 rear tires. My debate is get toyo proxes street tires to match the front of get some nitto drag radials. My car is my daily driver, rain, floods, tornadoes, sun, blah blah. And i was wondering how nittos wear on daily drivers or what not. I know drag radials get bad tread wear and i dont have money to be replacing tires constantly nor do i wanna hydroplane alot in the rain. If i get the street tires i would just stick on some sticky BFG drag radials on the stock rims.

ok i forgot to mention. i drive alot in the summer also. I use to have to drive 100 miles round trip to work everyday last summer and if i work there again. i will have to do that drive again

I love my BFG KDW2 street tires......they do ok at the drag strip....I got a 2.044sec 60 foot time and my 01 gt is close to stock.

I would say street tires because i got caught in the rain 1 time on my m/t radials and i ending up on the side of the road in a ditch!! All it takes a little sand, water, or gravel and they just break loose. My cheap Fusions 275/40 work great in all weather

id go with a nice set of street tires and be done with it. i use kumho and i love em.

put street tires on your car unless you want to change tires everytime you change oil.

you could put some m/ts on 2 of the wheels your taking off...

with the stock wheels being 8" wide, would that effect the mounting or performance of a 275 drag radials??? I was debating on the BFGs or MT also but i heard MTs might be too much bite for me and tear a axle up

stockers can take the 275 no problem....i would go with BFG, my MT's are too much grip i think and they pick up EVERYTHING, its easy to get a flat
