just hold the break and give it enough gas where you dont spin. that way when you go it gives you a nice jump start.... keep the shifter OD and massh the gass... press the OD button if you going to red line 3rd but i doubt you will with stock gears

If your car is 99+, with an auto, you should be able to prove your point by the time it chirps into second anyway.

It doesn't take a 99+ to chirp second...Ppl always downing the non-pi cars w/ no first hand knowledge...

Any shifting manually isn't BS...

When I left it in D, not only did I not chirp 1-2, but I ran a whole tenth slower (this was proven true on 3 different runs).
When I shifted manually I got a chirp and, obviously, ran a tenth faster each time...

.1 tenth isnt worth f@@king up the tranny by shifting manually... .1 tenth...$2000 to replace tranny....

Never heard of anyone's tranny getting messed up by manually UPSHIFTING....downshifting on the other hand...
