Default Intake Question

I'm assuming an ebay intake with a k&n filter is just as good as anyother intake but my question is if I buy an ebay intake would there be any benifit of putting a spray ceramic coating on it?

I think you'd be better off to just remove the air silencer and buy a K&N filter.
Spend the rest of the money on something else more beneficial.

I've already removed the silencer and the intake with a K&N isn't that much more than just the filter it also moves it to the fenderwell..Hmm the intake is like the only thing I'm willing to be cheap on..it's not like it's tires or something..

Yes the CAI is just as good as any other because it is just for looks. If you spray that ceramic coating on it it wont do anything.

ceramic coatinghasinsulating propertiesanyways...you'd be retaining the heat from the intake air inside[&:], instead of it transfering to the tube itself where it can radiate off. It's a reletively small temp transfer (and negligible) but you get the idea
