03/04 cobra hood and stripes?
One of the things I want to do visually when i pick up another GT is put an 03 Cobra reverse cowl hood on it. I love the look and it being functional and all....
however I havent seen a single cobra with lemans style racing stripes....would it look bad with the vents the way they are? if you guys have seen any pics post em here....i'm curious to see how it looks

RE: 03/04 cobra hood and stripes?
wasnt really planning on it....other than bumper inserts (depending on what color car I get), i dont see myself putting decals on the car. Just thinkin about it and i dont think ive seen an 03-04 cobra with lemans stripes.... I guess I hafta pick out a new car before I start picking out my projects but I'm getting excited...especially knowing the weather is going to slowly warm up....

start the two stripes right behind the vents (as if the stripes were coming out of the vents) and then go up the roof...then end the stripes on the top of the trunklid (don't stripe the front of the hood or the back of the trunklid)
that would look badass and classy at the same time

i dont 'think i've ever seen an 03 cobra with those stripes either now that i think about it. but after taking a look at the hood and trying to picture it...i think it would look badass to do it that way!!

I was considering getting some faded black stripes emerging from the vents and fading into the cowl when I first got my hood, but ultimately decided against it, and im kinda glad that I did. There are a few people over on SVTperformance that have full stripes, plus a few with short/faded stripes.
