Dynotune

When would be a good time to get a dynotune? Im just asking this because my freind who has a 2001 camaro SS went and got his done. All he had done was a cold air and full exhaust and they told him that he was running dangerously lean? So just having a midpipe and catback is it even worth wasting my money?

no you don't need a dyno tune yet but it would probably be a good idea to get a hand held tuner such as sct

A good time for a dyno tune is when you get full boltons, cams, or FI. If you get a tune and just have exhaust, then you might need another tune after you do a simple CAI/TB/Plenum, etc....

thanks, but if you are wanting to get a tune just go with the hand held. check with your dyno tuner to see what program they use and get that
