BBk caramic coated Long tubes. Alot of people have MAC, and are also happy with them.

my bbk's fit fine, once the k-member was out of the way anyways! also get the ceramic ones, it's really worth it.

Another vote for the BBK Ceramic Coated Headers. You will have to get a different midpipe no matter what when going from standard length./manifolds to a longtube setup. You can get the BBK O/R X or H to match for a fairly cheap price. I got the BBK equal length headers back in highschool (mistake) and am able to use the stock sized midpipes- but def go longtubes!

Hooker Super Comp LT's w/ a custom 3" X-pipe from Summit (Makes it easy to make one) its just the X section but you can have the exhaust put together for you. I would have them make the X pipe separate and held on with slip on ends and band clamps.

It wont be smog legal but it will be the best Well not as good as stepped headers but thats a who nother price range.

I have always been a big fan of Hooker and have used them on oldschool before and have seen great power gains. For some reason our mod motors work better with the smaller size, it was in an issue of 5.0

You should also have them coated on the inside too for better scavanging.

Hey. I am new to the site andIm going to purchase a 2004 mustang GT 5 speed. I have a 1994 SHO 5 speed Taurus now and have decided to addanotherFord tomy ownership. (Anyoneever own or drive a SHO? Its a pretty fun car!).If someone could tell me how much each of these will cost for the GT, and give me the best brand for each!!

1. Headers/ Better Exhaust
2. Bigger Throttle Body (75mm?)
3. Some sort of higher flowing intake
4. Chip.
5. And any other easy mods just to give the car a little more kick. (no superchargers, turbos etc.)

I am thinking about getting a convertible and i know it will be a tad slower becasue of the added weight; but dont want to spend assloads of money on modifications. Maybe like 1500-2000 dollars max. Thanks guys!
