I personally never have on my stang to save weight etc and it's also not my daily driver.....Knock on wood I have never gotten a flat and hope not to but, I have AAA if it ever came to that......wondering how many others do or don't....Dan

I keep mine. The extra weight isn`t all that much. I converted mine to a full size spare.

All I do is go around town, so if it goes out I'll just get some of my family to bring the spare, I need my trunk [:'(]

i keep mine in, the weight you save probably isn't worth risking being stuck with a flat out in the middle of nowhere, and then having no spare.

I thought about taking mine out and then there I was doing a 360 on the freeway and hit the curb which busted my tire and broke the lip off my deep dish rims. Spare came in handy. I think its worth keeping in after my little adventure.
